I’m a digital product builder.
Over the past 25 years, I have held numerous product positions in technology, fintech, media and digital marketing. Over the last 8 years, I’ve focused on fintech as CPO of Acorns and Varo Bank in the US and Moneybox in the UK – companies that help democratize access to financial markets and systems, allowing everyone to participate in growing their wealth and gaining financial confidence. Prior to working in the fintech/neo-bank space, I ran the digital product consulting arm for Noise, a digital marketing agency in New York. Before Noise, I helped start Current TV, the global media network founded by Al Gore.
I’m also a Husband and Father.
Early in my relationship with my wife, she said something that always stuck: “We’re all a work in progress.” I won’t divulge what led to that comment, but she’s right (of course). We are always evolving, always learning, always growing. Knowing that life and career are a practice vs. something to master takes the pressure off and creates space for authenticity.
In fact, one of the tenets of coaching is “no one gets to be wrong.” This is a pretty useful reminder raising three teenagers who insist that I’m always wrong. I love my kids. Usually.
